BoingBoingの記事によれば、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校で今季開講される「情報法と政策」(Information Law and Policy)の授業が、ポッドキャストで配信されることになった(配信ページ)。
大学の授業を配信すること自体は今となってはさほど珍しくはないが、今季の講師は著作権法の分野で世界的に有名なパム・サミュエルソン教授。ACMのフェローでもあり、EFFのボードメンバとしてハッカーにも馴染み深い存在だ。英語の勉強がてら聴いてみてはいかがでしょう。

うへぇ，*.rmだよ・・RealPlayer が必要なのか．
コーデックだけ入れさせてくれればいいのに，
あれやこれやインストールされて，
拡張子の関連付けを勝手に変えられて，
必要のない時にもずっと常駐されて，
ってことで散々な目にあったのであんまり入れたくない．
mp3 も用意されているものの，映像はどうやら *.rm のみの予感．
RealmediaSplitter とか RealPlayer Alternative を使うべきかなぁ．

でも最近はほいほい付いて行ったりしなければそこまでひどい事はされないと思いますよ。

今のところ再生に支障や、その他の問題が発生したことはありません。
普通にコーデック入れるのと何ら変わりませんし、気軽に試してみては。
まあライセンス的にはグレーなんですけどね。

Your assignment is to write a letter to the President of Hasbro explaining why you think your game does not infringe its trademarks or copyrights.

“half a grade”ということは、レポートの内容がＡランクであっても、Ａ－ → Ｂ → Ｂ－ → … という具合に段階的に引き下げていく、ということではないかという気がします。
